Imagine having the ability to reach deep inside a person’s subconscious mind and reveal their dreams!
I'm am not a young man and have been doing this stuff a while. This presentation premise is so personal, so effecting and so marvelous, I cannot praise it enough. The OTT is the PERFECT so perfect and with a little practice, is so deceiving that it is a utility move I will use time and again.
The concept of the routine is solid and will make a very strong impact on your participants. I studied this for about an hour, practiced it and road tested it on a neighbor who knows I am a magician and was watching my every move. It floored him...just shook his head and walked away without a word.
I highly recommend this video, if for the OTT alone. Learn it, and use it whenever the conditions call for it. So. Very. Strong.
The video is well done, shows all of the necessary moves in a clear manner...even for this old performer. Well done, Lewis.
The dreamer is a great premise and the strength of this routine is that it makes the participants feel like they are part of something larger than themselves. This routine is simple and to the point but does just that. This routine is strong because it personal and gives a sense of importance. I appreciate this aspect of Lewis and this routine. In this effect he taps into the dreams of others which definitely make them feel important, which is most of the battle when dealing with spectators. I also feel that he has included other routines with other premising that work similarly using the same O.T.T. move. I feel that this in a very good routine just in premise alone regardless of the physical workings, which are also very good. Good job Lewis
My favorite whisper tape so far.
This is a masterpiece! Its practical and charming.
I really really love this to perform and i really enjoy the other
Volumens of the Whisper Tapes! Lewis is a fantastic teacher!
I honestly don't. I feel like Lewis' releases are becoming an addiction.
This one one again goes straight into my set.
This isn't really a routine as much as it is a skeleton to make your own routines.
The method is as old as it gets but it's looking at it in a fresh way that's suddenly opening endless possibilities.
I think the routine itself is brilliant as it is, but I feel like I might use it more to reveal childhood memories, and where the billet you hand them as a prediction will be more a message ala fortune cookie from Peter turner (if you own it you can imagine how well it would fit) and where the routine could be established around the idea of past present future type routine.
You could do it as a drawing duplication where the billet you hand them is for them to guess or something, using wish you were here also by Pete turner, or anything.
My mind can't stop thinking about all the things you can do with it!
Speaking of Peter turner, watching Lewis perform and teach his methods, I don't think I have felt so inspired and so enthusiastic about trying those new routines since I first heard of bigger fish and devil in disguise.
Oh and I almost forgot, the bonus routine from the heart will probably become my go to demonstration whenever someone asks me to show them something, so simple, the method is old, the handling is simple but the context and premise really make it beautiful.
Good stuff!
